The burning within is taking flight
showing you what I am
the shamed horror of what I can't hide
wont turn back again
the passion for love
one from another
but not for whom it seemed
the love I wish to hold
lies beneath the untouched part of me
so look upon us and grimace
but know I'm standing tall
so you see I love her
and with her I won't fall
