Sitting in Calculus

Your feet are scarred with bites
from spiders.  Your legs are bruised
from bumping corners.

You wear brown leather
sandles, khaki shorts, white boxers,
grey t-shirts, and base ball caps.

I twirl my hair
I brush my teeth
I watch you
sit on the edge
of the bed and smoke.

Your hair is brown,
fluffy, short.  Your eyes are
dark green and intuitive.
Your palms feel rough/
are gentle.

I crack my knuckles, watch your boxers wrinkle,
taste cologne on your ear
